The length of a dipá varies from person to person. It’s approximately the the distance from your left fingertips to your right fingertips when you stretch your arms out to the side.

dumipa: to extend one’s arms out to the sides
(not a common verb)
Another traditional body-based measurement is dangkal, which is the length between the thumb and pinky finger of a wide-open hand.
