Tagaytay, Second Summer Capital

According to Google's Zeitgeist 2008,  Tagaytay was the ninth most searched for travel destination by Filipinos in the Philippines.

TAGAYTAY

Tagaytay is a city in the province of Cavite, 35 miles from Manila on the large island of Luzon. It is famous for having a good view of Taal Volcano, an active volcano that is part of the Pacific Ring of Fire.

Tourists also visit Tagaytay for its cool climate, which is due to its high altitude. In fact, it is called the second summer capital of the Philippines, second only to the city Baguio, which is farther from the capital and less accessible.
