2 pounds of pork loin
2 tbsp brown sugar
8-ounce bottle of lemon-lime soda
1/3 cup onions
2 tbsp kalamansi or lemon juice
1 tsp minced garlic
1/2 cup tomato ketchup
1 tsp prepared mustard
1 tbsp pickle relish
salt, pepper and/or paprika to taste
Simple Steps for a Filipino-Style Pork BBQ
1. Mix all the ingredients thoroughly.
2. Let the meat marinate for at least two hours.
3. Drain and then roast over live coals.
4. Brush the meat with the marinade from time to time.
