- fresh ginger
- brown sugar
PROCEDURE FOR MAKING SALABAT
- Pound 2 inches of fresh ginger.
- Boil in 4 cups of water with 2 tablespoons of brown sugar for 7-8 minutes.
- Serve hot, ideally with a rice-based Filipino delicacy, but tastes great with most pastries.
