Practice Basa (Read) and Basa (Wet)

Tagalog words with the same spelling can have two different meanings depending on the pronunciation.

 

Notice the difference between basa (a verb meaning 'to read') and basa (an adjective meaning 'wet'). The accent is placed on a different syllable.
