The opposite of mas is menos, but menos is used with nouns rather than adjectives. 


menos ~
  less, fewer


menos gastos
incurs fewer expenses

menos problema
have fewer problems


Menos gastos ito.
This incurs fewer expenses. (This is cheaper.)

Menos problema kung gagamitin natin ito.
There would be fewer problems if we used this.
