Abakada Tagalog Alphabet

Filipino children learn the alphabet through the ABAKADA, which is the basic Tagalog alphabet with 20 letters. Today, the official Filipino alphabet has 28 letters because of the inclusion of letters from other Western alphabets, but Filipino children still begin their education by learning the basic Tagalog alphabet: a-ba-ka-da.
